About me
I'm Jorik Weymans
I design and build websites for small and medium businesses.
I started programming small games when I was around 14 – 15 years old, simply because I was curious how digital content was created. This led me to study game development and to get my degree. In the past four years, I have been making web applications professionally.
What I love about creating websites is the mix between creativity and problem solving. A good website is not just about writing code but about translating the need of your business in a beautiful and structured way.
Originally, I am from the Flemish-speaking part of Belgium, but after marrying my French wife in 2025, we moved to Mouthe. We are both not native to the region, but we chose to live here because we wanted to live closer to nature, forests, mountains, and calm villages. In this region, life moves a bit slower, and we appreciate it.
Today I focus on helping local businesses have an online presence that leads to success
You need substance, not flash
A different approach to websites that focus on what matters
Many websites today look very impressive: have animations, uncommon and complex layouts, and flashy designs, but they fail at the most important thing: helping visitors quickly understand the business.
When a visitor of your website does not immediately see:
- What your business is
- What services you offer
- How to contact you
They will leave the website within seconds.
My approach
When I create your website, I focus on the content. I use your content to create a clean, structured, and easy-to-navigate website. Your visitors will not see a creative mess but something that works well for them and turns them from visitors into customers.
